Memories of James Kaufman
James L. Kaufman, was the guy in school, who was strong and fun-loving. He lost a little finger in a tractor accident. He used to sit in the back of class and put his chin in his left hand. It looked like he had put his finger up his nose. The teacher got mad, when he saw it, so Jim had to take his hand down. We got married in November of that year. He has a son (James Jr.)and daughter (Mary Jo). He joined the Army in 1970. He was stationed at Fort Knox, KY. He went to work one morning, then he was killed by a drunk driver, May 18,1972. He was 24 years old. I will always remember him. We were only married five years.
